Description:View at the junction with Wolverhampton Road. The thatched cottages have now been replaced by a garage. The sign of the Sun Inn is just visible at the lower end of the street, and the gables of the shops opposite Newport Road can be seen in the distance. The Baptist Church, designed by Birmingham architect Ewan Harper and completed in 1896, is on the left.
