Description:This picture was taken during a scene from ‘She Stoops to Conquer’, the 18th century play by Oliver Goldsmith which was presented by a drama group at Alleyne’s Grammar School in December 1954.

Members of the cast included: Sylvia M Blake, Kate Hardcastle, Daphne Tribe, Samuel E Slynn, C R Hazell, Terry R Pyper, G Oakley, B E Warrilow, Pauline A Bloomfield, G M Brown, J MT Kane, D Bonnet, T E Wild and Gillian Price. The play was produced by Miss M M B Higham and the assistant producer and stage manager was Miss M Robson.
