Description:A postcard view of Wolseley Hall. The Wolseley family had lived on the estate since Norman times. In the eighteenth century Wolseley Hall was rebuilt, but after a serious fire in the 1950s it was demolished in 1966. On the death of the 10th Baronet in 1954 the estate was offered to the National Trust together with money for a family mausoleum but was declined. The estate remained derelict until 1990, when the gardens were restored as Wolseley Garden Park. It is now the home of the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust.
