Description:The Rt. Hon. Sir Frederick John Wrottesley (1880-1948), Lord Justice of the Court of Appeal and Chairman of the Quarter Sessions for the County of Stafford, 1939-1948. He resigned as Lord Justice in October 1948 due to ill health, shortly before his death.

Oil on canvas by Edward Irvine Halliday (1902-1984).
