Description:Lea Hall Garage on Armitage Road, Rugeley. Its forerunner was a tin shack occupied by Trent Valley Transport Station in the 1930s. During the period of nationalised transport it became the Trent Valley Service Station. It was demolished in 1953. The older portion of the premises shown here was built in 1955 as Lea Hall garage, due to it being near to the new colliery site. The show room extension on the right was added later when it was owned by Bradbury & Brown of Chasetown. Originally a Ford agent, a Skoda agency was added later. The premises were abandoned by 2006 and the site cleared in 2008. Around 2016 a housing development was built on the site.
