Description:These photographs taken by Ian Tavernor, who was attending the show working for the agricultural supplies company Stubbs Meeson & Co give a good sense of the scale of the show in the early 1960's.

Since 1958 the County Show has been held at the purpose-built County Show Ground at Hopton, on the outskirts of Stafford.
