Description:This view taken in Market Square looks north towards Market Street in Rugeley. In later years this area became pedestrianised, however, most of the buildings in this scene remain. On the left is a shop which was built in the mid-19th century for Harris & Sons Ironmongers and adjacent is George Blagg's Ironmongers shop. Across the road is the Shrewsbury Arms Hotel and on the right a Co-Op Supermarket (later known as Iceland).
