Description:This line up of PMT (Potteries Motor Traction) buses was taken in Bryan Street, Hanley in 1963. Buses used to park up here whilst crews took their meal breaks. Nearest the camera is SN6646 (registration XVT 646) a Weymann bodied AEC Reliance. Of note is the double decker which was one of Staffordshire's first, and ultimately unsuccessful, attempts at bus preservation. It is a 1939 ex Southdown Leyland TD5 with post war East Lancs body FUF228.
