Description:In the early 1950s, PMT bought a number of local smaller operators and had a need for some second-hand double deckers to replace some of the buses acquired. In 1954 a number of buses was purchased from the City of Oxford Motor Services and one of them, H211 (registration JFC 800) is seen here leaving Burslem in 1959 bound for Oxford just beyond Chell which would pass the Port Vale football ground on the way.
