Description:Embroidery panel by Miss Winterbottom of Stone, a member of Leek School of Embroidery, showing two orders of angels, Angela and Pri Nupatus. Miss Winterbottom was a teacher at the embroidery school, a building next door to the Wardle's house at 54 St. Edward Street for several years.
The image was copied from a painted rood screen in Southwold Church, Suffolk. A framed panel showing a set of six other angels is on display in St. Edward's Church.
