Description:The Guildhall on Market Square, Stafford decorated for Peace Celebrations at the end of the First World War. The Guildhall pictured here was built in 1853. It was demolished in 1934 as part of the Borough Council's plans to improve Market Square. The new Guildhall was built further back from the Square.
