Description:The author of this drawing, Abraham K. Mosley was born in Kingsley to parents Mr and Mrs Anthony Mosley.
He married Miss Cooper, also from the village. By the time they emigrated to the USA, Abraham was a prominent architect. In America he was one of the three man team who designed the Emma Willard School, today recognised as a important example of English collegiate architecture. He was also involved in many other prestigious building projects and in 1942 designed a vest pocket conversion table and measuring scale to deal with conversions between British and American systems.
