Date:1920 - 1930 (c.)

Description:The station building in this picture was constructed in 1862. On the right is the Station Hotel, originally built as the North Western Hotel on Victoria Road in 1866, to provide accommodation for rail travellers. The building was demolished in May 1972 and a motor salesroom was built in its place. It would appear that the picture dates to some time between 1920 and 1930.
