Description:This is an excellent view of one of the many Church Parades carried out on the Camps. It would have been a regular occurrence and the Military Band, of which there were many, would have accompanied the Service. Each Battalion Line had its own Chaplain's Hut and a great number of the men would have sought solace in their respective religion, especially if they were due to be sent on active service. The Chaplain here can be seen stood upon a table in order to ensure his sermon is heard by all.
