Description:Rugeley Camp was also known as Penkridge Bank Camp but it was rarely referedto as Hednesford Camp so the view must be from the Hednesford end of the Chase.

Colour-tinted postcards of the Great War Camps on Cannock Chase are rare. Before World War 1, photographs were sent to Germany to have them tinted. For that reason and for the extra cost of production World war 1 cards tend to be black and white. This atmospheric view may show the Brindley Valley area.
