Description:Class 1 of Brewood Church of England School.

The National School was built in 1859-1860 on School Road, replacing the original 1818 building which stands closer to the Market Place. The Monckton family paid half the costs of the new building which became Brewood Church of England Voluntary Primary School (Mixed and Infants). It is now St. Mary and St. Chad CE (VC) First School.
