Description:Corridor of the Men's Dormitory. Bedding rolls can be seen on the floor in front of the man and boy.

The Diocesan Labour Home opened in 1891 on the corner of Austin Friars and Friars Terrace. The site was later occupied by the Police Garage, and in 2003 is a County Council depot.
The home kept unemployed men for up to three months whilst they found employment.
