Description:Written from Sister Dora Nursing Home on Milford Common. A father writing to his daughter on 30 Oct 1917 about the area and the food he is expected to eat: obviously a patient in the Nursing Home. From February 1915 to March 1918 a limited number of injured servicemen were treated at the Nursing Home. In March 1918 the whole building was handed over to the Military Authorities.
