Description:The original parts of this factory building date back to before 1812, with a rear extension constructed between 1900-1912. The first floor has four windows, as does the ground floor, plus one board door and a brick staircase with timber handrail to the ground floor. The rear of the building is attached to a separate L-shaped structure which has one-storey plus basement and a modern roof. A cobbled road runs along the front of the factory, with decorative iron gates giving access to Pack Horse Lane, formerly Old Pack Horse Lane in 1851 and Fountain Lane in 1812.
