Description:A couple are seen walking down the narrow track at the rear of the Cannock Chase Golf Course Clubhouse which is now a private home. The Golf Club moved to their present location at Brocton Hall in 1922. The Golf Course was quite a challenge for any golfer, only nine holes but a very difficult course. The first Clubhouse was adjacent to the Barley Mow public house and the 1st tee was on Milford Common with the green in front of Sister Dora Convalescent Home.

This track originally had a number of rock houses off it built into the sandstone ridge. The track is still usable today but far more trees have grown on the hillside, above which is Broc Hill.
