Description:Besides the Power Station this was easily the most recognizable feature on the Camp, seen from miles around. The local water supply was insufficient to supply the Camp, therefore initially water was pumped from the Sherbrook until three boreholes were sunk close to the Power Station and pumped into the 30,000 gallon above ground tank. It used to sit on the location of the present Boulder Stone and on the ground around it you can see the large concrete support pads that held the upright stanchions.

A guard stands by the entrance to the enclosure. When the Camp was cleared it is believed that this water tank was taken to Cradley Heath and used as their water supply until the 1960s. The large scale 1916 map of Brocton Camp's Sewage System shows a second "reservoir" near to Springslade Cottage. Interestingly a large concrete pad is to be found at that location but was another water tank placed there?
