Description:This photograph was taken in 1979 by Jake Whitehouse and shows reproduces a scene of a Great War postcard where a horse and cart had come around the bend of the road toward Brocton. On the bend today is Chase Road Corner car park and there is no sign of the speed bumps we drive over today. Ahead you would have seen the Battalion Lines "P" and "Q" with the large YMCA Hut to the right.
