Description:This photograph of the Café at the Riverside Recreation Centre was taken by Stafford photographer Tony Boydon. in the background looking through the windows is a glimpse of the Stafford Borough Council offices. If you recognise anyone in this view please contact us.

Riverside Recreation Centre was closed and demolished in 2008; it was replaced by the Stafford Leisure Centre, a new £15 million pound facility which opened nearby on Lammerscote Road in April 2008. In later years there was a major redevelopment on both sides of the adjacent River Sow and the site of the former Riverside Recreation Centre became part of the Riverside Shopping Centre which opened during 2016.
