Description:This Staffordshire Newsletter picture shows the construction of new blocks of flats on Hesketh Road, near to Rising Brook, Stafford. Around 2016 all of these flats were demolished and replaced by several new blocks.

On the left of the picture there is a glimpse of houses at Rising Brook (A449) and on the extreme right is a part view of Rising Brook School. In later years several houses and bungalows would be built on the grassed area on the centre left.
