Description:Fruit and vegetable display in Tesco Supermarket, on the corner of Greengate Street and Tipping Street.

The shop stood on the site of the Alexandra Hotel which was demolished in 1961. Tesco stayed at this site, 18 Greengate Street, between 1963 and 1978, when a new store was built at Riverside. The shop was later occupied by Superdrug.
