Description:A view of the Stafford Pageant parade looking along Greengate Street towards the Green, taken from an upstairs window in the Swan Hotel. On the opposite side of the street can be seen Newbold's opticians, the Alexandra Hotel (on the corner of Tipping Street), Pearl Assurance, Curry's and in the distance is Stafford Library and Museum on the Green.

The procession through Stafford ended with a fair on the town common. A prize was awarded to the best decorated entries and along the route collections were made for charity.
