Description:The camera is looking southwards along Broad Street from near the top of Victoria Square. St Mark's Church, with its 120 foot tower, is the largest church in the city. It was built in the 1830s to serve the newly expanding population of Shelton and designed to hold over 2000. Today it is a grade II listed building.
The shops and houses on the right have been demolished but the car dealership on the left still stands, although with a changed frontage and ownership. College Road goes off to the left, between the church and car dealer's.
