Description:This view of the site of the former Royal Brine Baths shows the ground is being prepared for the construction of the new Stafford Borough Council Offices. Just below the building site the road is South Walls and on the lower left several of the buildings would later be demolished to make way for the new Staffordshire County Council Offices. In the background on the left is a glimpse of former Sun Smithfield cattle market which was later replaced by a Tesco Supermarket and car park and on the right is the Picture House Cinema. This photograph was taken by Stafford photographer Tony Boydon.
