Description:A view of the old Pear Tree Inn near to Rugeley. Over the doorway is a sign stating Mr Edwin Devall licensed retailer of Beer and Tobacco. The couple standing in front of the building are believed to be Edwin Devall and his wife Margaret.

In later years a public house also called the Pear Tree was built by the Pear Tree Estate in Rugeley. This building was near to the junction of Queensway and Hednesford Road but it was later demolished and the site occupied by a supermarket and retail units.
