Description:This postcard scene shows the entrance to the Rugeley District Hospital and Provident Dispensary which was built in 1879 and stood on Brereton Road on land donated by the Earl of Lichfield. It has now been demolished but has been replaced with Briar Hill House Care Home adjacent to Atlee Crescent.
