Description:A postcard view of Sheep Fair in Rugeley taken near to the junction with Bow Street and Crossley Stone. Many of the buildings in this scene remain. On the right is The Vine Inn, part of which dates back to the 16th century and the premises was once the malt house of the Crossley Stone Brewery.

This postcard was published for G. Frith, Horse Fair, Rugeley. William Augustus 'Gus' Frith was a stationer, sub-postmaster and cabinet-maker in Horsefair, and published postcards between about 1900 and 1910.
