Description:Landlord, Thomas James Machin 1902-1903, standing outside the Duke of York public house in Tipping Street.

The pub was sold in about 1929 or 1930 and turned into Brown's butchers shop and a camping accessory shop. The dormer windows were removed before it was sold.
