Date:9th of October 1948

Description:Two teams of horses owned by Harry Timmis of Wood End Farm, Adbaston which won 1st and 3rd Prizes in the Turn Out Class at the 1948 Eccleshall District Ploughing Match. The men pictured with them are their waggoners, Mr J. Moult (left) and Frederick Ash. They are pictured at Kemsey Manor, Shebdon, the host venue for the event, and farmed at the time by Mr J.S. Billington of Adbaston Hall.
