Description:Children in 'Smarties' and 'Evo-Stik' fancy dress, 1st and 2nd prizes in a competition organised by Stafford Borough Band. On the left is Laureene Taylor, aged 16 months, daughter of Mr M. Taylor of Evode's Carpenter's Shop. On the right is Brian LeMaistre, aged 7, whose father worked in Evode's Data Processing Department.

Evode chemical works, manufacturers of Evo-Stik, was a Stafford firm originally founded in 1932 as Spick and Span Shoe Polishes Ltd.
