Description:The Greenfield Pottery in Furlong Road dates originally from around 1818 but was largely rebuilt in the 1920s. It is was built by the William Adams family, a large family of Tunstall potters. The works was further east along Furlong Road than the other Adam's work, Greengates. Closed in 1956, with the work being transferred along Furlong Road to the Greengates works, the factory became the site of a coachbuilders and plastics company before being demolished and the site cleared.
