Description:Two horse-drawn Brougham carriages pictured outside the Mansion, Cheadle Park, Cheadle, the home of Sir Robert Plant. Included in the group are: Harry Chadwick (holding the reins of the left-hand carriage) Sir Robert Plant, James William Plant, James William Winkup Plant (his son), William Plant, Mr E. Barker and Richard Bolham.

Colliery owner Sir Robert Plant built the mansion house in 1869. It was demolished in 1978 and Mansion Close marks the site of the house. The grounds are now occupied by Tean Road Recreation Park.
