Description:The inscription reads: "This garden is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Captain Steven G. Wolseley R.A. 1918-1944 and to all whose sacrifices in both World Wars have enabled us to enjoy Peace Freedom and Beauty".

This photograph was taken just before the clearing of part of Wolseley Gardens for a new housing development.
