Description:Standing (left to right): Hilda Meakin, Cyril Meakin, Mrs James Meakin, John Ridgway, Bernard Meakin, Edith Serjeatson. Seated: Millie Cooper, E. Earl, Jessie Cooper, Ethel Ridgway, K.W.G Meakin. The Meakin family, pottery manufacturers, owned Darlaston Hall from 1880. The hall was remained in the Meakin family up to 1951. The hall, situated at the bottom of Yarnfield Lane, was bought by Mr Meakin from the Jervis family. The hall is now demolished and a bungalow now occupies the site.
