Description:Leonard 'Dick' Brookes (1915-2009), pictured in the farmhouse at Shugborough Park Farm with one of his baby daughters, either Ann or Patricia. Born in Congleton, Cheshire, Dick Brookes took over the tenancy of Shugborough Park Farm in 1946. He was the last tenant of the Farm and left in 1974 to take over a farm at Elmhurst, near Lichfield.
