Description:This view looking north from the corner of Albion Place and Bath Street towards Chapel Street and Crabbery Street in Stafford was taken by Stafford photographer Tony Boydon. On the left is a glimpse of the former Bookland Book shop, centre left a rear view of the former Noah’s Ark Inn and on the right is the rear entrance into St John’s Market. The Market buildings were demolished in the early 1990s to make way for the construction of the Guildhall Shopping Centre. The Noah’s Ark Inn was incorporated into the Shopping Centre and over the years both this and the book shop changed owners several times.
