Description:Watercolour painting titled 'Chapel Chorlton' by K.H. Chester. Shows St. Lawrence's church and neighbiouring buildings.
Chapel Chorlton’s parish church is dedicated to St Lawrence. It was remodelled in 1826-1827 by James Trubshaw, junior, one of the Little Haywood dynasty of master builders and architects. It retains its medieval west tower.
