Description:This steam corn mill is claimed to be the source of self-raising flour. The mill is situated on the Shropshire Union Canal at Newport Road Bridge, Coton, was built by one of the Wilder family in 1833. It ceased working before 1914, and the building of brick, was used as a store in 1955. Coton Mill is now a private dwelling.
