Description:The earliest record of Doglands Farm is in the burial of a child of the Stevenson family of Dogland in 1582. Much later, John Fitzgerald sold the property to the Fradswell Estate sometime between 1809-12. William Bennett (formerly of Bennett’s Lane, Bramshall) farmed it from the mid 1830s till his death in 1838, and the family were advertising a sale of goods of his estate including '140 Bushels of excellent malt and about half a Pocket of hops' in 1839. It has been occupied by the Capewell family both before and since this time. In 2005 it was being farmed by at the Cartmail family.
