Description:James Jones lived in Roggin Row, off Audley Road in Chesterton. Born in 1876, James enlisted for the North Staffordshire Regiment during World War I when aged 42. He fought in Gallipoli before joining the Norfolk Regiment and serving in India. He died in 1956.
