Description:The horse-drawn narrowboat 'Perpetual' was purchased by William Podmore and Sons of Consall Mills in October 1915 and operated on the Caldon Canal between there and the company's head office at Shelton. It carried ground Cornish stone and calcined flint for the pottery industry.
