Description:A Yorkshire diesel shunting engine pulling a 'Sand Train' at Oakamoor sidings. Sand was carried from Moneystone sand quarry via the Churnet Valley line to St Helens, Merseyside for Pilkington glass.

The Yorkshire Engine Co. of Sheffield made diesel locomotives between 1950 and 1965.
