Description:Looking north east from Telegraph Street, Stafford into Friars Terrace (left) and Austin Friars (right). This building was for many years the Head Quarters for the M6 Motorway Patrol vehicles and the repair centre for Staffordshire Police vehicles. Around 1988 the facilities were moved to a new location on the Weston Road, Stafford and the first occupants were the former Central Traffic Group. After the construction of additional purpose built buildings on the site Staffordshire Police moved their Headquarters in 2010 from Cannock Road to Weston Road. The Friars Terrace building was demolished in 2015 and redeveloped for residential accommodation.
