Description:On the right, next to the delivery cart horse, is Matthew Henry (Harry) Meddings, age 30, grocer and baker. The woman in the doorway (front) is most likely Mary Ann Meddings, the small boy is possibly Roland Meddings.

The Spencers were the next family to run the shop, which closed c.1985.
