Description:A fashion plate showing Paris fashions, published in 'Petit Courier des Dames', 7 May 1859. Fashion plates were popular from the 18th century up to the late 19th century, and were high quality engravings showing the latest dress fashions.

This is one of many fashion plates belonging to a Stafford family.
