Description:The centre bell is the oldest dated bell in Staffordshire, and the seventh oldest in the country. The bell was cast by John of Colsale in 1409, and is one of only two medieval English bells in the country to carry both a date and the founder's name. The remaining two bells are dated 1753 (left) and 1670 (right). All three bells were retuned and rehung in 1977. The photograph was taken in the church porch after the bells had been removed from the tower prior to retuning.
